2, If it also appears "flashing", should be dead on the power driver, it may be inconsistent for the driver output voltage and your LED strip drive voltage  (you can test whether it matches your strip drive voltage), it is also possible that the power driver inside has been damaged, you replace a matching drive power to try it.
