5050 refers to the size of LED Chips, the length is 5.0 mm, and the width is 5.0 mm. Similarly, the length of 3528 is 3.5 mm, and the width is 2.8 mm. 5050 is made on the basis of 3528 according to market demand. The best distinction in appearance is that 5050 LEDs are square, and 3528 LEDs are rectangular. Therefore, the 5050 circuit board is wider than the 3528.

1. LED Chips

There are 3 LED Chips in 5050 LED, while the 3528 LED has only one LED Chip. Correspondingly, the luminous intensity of the 5050 is higher than that of the 3528 LED. Generally speaking, the 5050 LED is brighter than the 3828 strips.

2. Power and The Intensity of Electric Current

The power of 5050 strip lights is 0.18 W, and the drive current intensity is 60mA, while the power of the 3528 strips is 0.06W, and the drive current intensity is 20mA.

3. The Brightness of Spectrometer

Because 5050 uses 3 LED Chips, the brightness of the spectrometer is large than 3528 strips. In terms of value, the spectral brightness of 5050 is 4500-5500-6500, while the spectral brightness of 3528 is 2000-2400-2800.

4. Single LED Lumen Value

The power is different, so is the single LED lumen value. The lumen value of 5050 LED Strips is 15LM and 18LM, while the lumen value of 3528 LED Strips is 7LM.

5. Performance

The luminous intensity of the light strip mainly depends on the LED chips and the size of the current. Because the LED of 5050 Strips is large than 3528, and the quality of 5050 Strips is superior to 3528's, the light output of the 5050 is stronger, the price of 5050 on the market is higher than 3528.
